GRASP Welcomes Isabel Andrews as Executive Director
by GRASP Team
The seasoned cancer nonprofit leader is the organization’s first-ever Executive Director.
GRASP is thrilled to welcome our new Executive Director, Isabel Andrews (she/her). Isabel, building on the strong foundation created and inspired by co-founders Christine Hodgdon and Julia Maués will take our organization to the next level as we shift the research paradigm through meaningful collaborations between patient advocates, clinicians, and researchers.
Isabel is a seasoned nonprofit leader with over 20 years of experience. Throughout her career, she has worked domestically and internationally with world-renowned scientists, educators, tribes, diplomats, funders, and other community stakeholders. Isabel recently held senior leadership roles with other nonprofits in the cancer space that are dedicated to serving patients and their families.
“We are thrilled to have Isabel join the GRASP team,” said co-founders Christine Hodgdon and Julia Maués. “Her experience and expertise will be invaluable as we continue to grow our organization and create a more inclusive research paradigm that ultimately results in bettering the lives of patients affected by cancer.”
“I am honored to be joining GRASP,” said Isabel. “I have a deep respect for the vision, and voices of GRASP’s co-founders, the Board of Advisors, patient advocates, and the research community. I am deeply grateful for the chance to work with this talented group of people and our generous partners and supporters that help create meaningful dialogue that ultimately puts patients’ voices front and center in important research.”
