Our 2024 Annual Impact Report: Elevating Advocacy, Expanding Impact
See what GRASP accomplished in 2024. How we deepened local and global programs, collaborations and continued to strive towards our mission of elevating patient-centered advocacy.
We’re thrilled to share GRASP’s 2024 Annual Impact Report. This report is a reflection of how far we’ve come in bringing together patient advocates and researchers to advance cancer research. This year, we expanded our efforts globally and deepened our commitment to patient-centered advocacy.
GRASP co-led the first-ever Latino Cancer Patient Advocate Training Program at the Advancing the Science of Cancer in Latinos Conference, equipping survivors and caregivers with the tools to impact research meaningfully. We also brought Poster Meetups to Belgium at the International Invasive Lobular Breast Cancer Symposium, continuing to foster powerful advocate-researcher collaborations.
Our global footprint grew further as GRASP co-founders Christine Hodgdon and Julia Maués were appointed to the Breast International Group’s Patient Partnership Initiative and participated in a workshop at the ESMO Breast Cancer Congress in Barcelona, amplifying patient voices in research design.
Apart from our signature programs like Poster Walkthroughs after ASCO and SABC conferences, we also significantly expanded our Huddles program to host these enriching discussions more frequently throughout the year.
The 2024 report celebrates our shared collaboration and milestones, and the future we’re building—one grounded in collaboration, equity, and lasting change in cancer research
